Hirsch, MD, FACC, of Good Samaritan Hospital as one of America’s most compassionate doctors, earning him a coveted Patients’ Choice Award for 2011. Based on reviews written and submitted by patients, the Patients’ Choice Award is given to less than 3% of the 720,000 practicing physicians in the United States.
The Patients’ Choice Award was just one of many accolades Dr. Hirsch has received. He was also named America’s Top Physician Interventional Cardiology by the Consumer Research Council of America. In addition, he is a sought-after speaker and has been published in a number of prestigious medical journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and the Journal of Clinical Investigation.
A world-renowned interventional cardiologist leading the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dr. Hirsch earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School. He holds three board certifications: interventional cardiology, cardiology and internal medicine. Dr. Hirsch also spearheads a number of clinical trials at Good Samaritan Hospital’s Active International Cardiovascular Institute participating in more than 28 to date. These trials are critical drivers in today’s evidence-based medicine, helping researchers test and identify validated medical advances that benefit
patients everywhere.
