Welcome to The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation.

The Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation creates awareness, builds support and inspires goodwill to bring ongoing advances in healthcare to our community. We are here to help ensure that you and your family continue to receive the care you need close to home.

With our community of local residents and corporate partners, we raise funds that help strengthen Good Samaritan Hospital's Foundation essential healthcare programs. Contributions from friends like you make it possible to expand and enhance our facilities, services, equipment and technology. We also subsidize staff training and certifications as well as community-based wellness activities.

We also now offer a new pain protocol that facilitates breast surgery and recovery without narcotics, and our breast cancer patients can receive enhanced surgical accuracy with MarginProbe® technology. We are the only hospital in Rockland and Orange to offer patients with prostate cancer SpaceOAR®, new technology that improves outcomes. Our Bloodless Medicine Surgery Program markedly reduces transfusions during procedures. Starting this spring, we will offer minimally invasive TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement heart surgery).

Upcoming initiatives at Good Samaritan include the opening of a new, state-of-the-art endoscopy suite for screening, diagnosing and, in some cases, treating common and complex gastrointestinal disorders. We also will soon open a Pediatric Emergency Department where dedicated pediatric specialists will care for our youngest patients in a child-friendly environment.

Based on the rise of COVID-19 cases in our area, in consultation with WMCHealth clinical and administrative leadership, we have made the decision to postpone our 2021 major in-person events this fall until 2022.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we continue to focus on the health and safety of our patients, our workforce and our community.

If you have registered for or sponsored a fall event, we are pleased to present you with one of three options: 1) you may donate your ticket/registration/sponsorship fee to WMCHealth to support our programs and services; 2) you may defer your ticket/registration/sponsorship reservation for the same 2022 event, or; 3) you may request a refund.  Please reach out to Arlette Porpiglia at Arlette.Porpiglia@WMCHealth.org for assistance.
